ETIENNE BOUCHARD NAMED GENERAL MANAGER AT FIBROBEC
Montreal, November 7, 2017 – The board of directors of Fibrobec is proud to announce the nomination of Étienne Bouchard as General Manager, starting November 7th 2017. Since September 2015, he held the position of Sales Director and Strategic marketing.
Mr. Bouchard’s managerial experience has greatly contributed to the consolidation of Fibrobec’s leading position in the Quebec market as well as the growth of the SpaceKap brand in the US market. “After two years of leading the sales team across North America, Étienne was ready to take over the management of the company, which has experienced strong growth since 2011. We’ve completely revamped the brand image and implemented a new digital marketing strategy, in order to have a stronger presence on social networks. It’s starting to pay off!”, said Frédéric Albert, president of Fibrobec.
Fibrobec has faced numerous organisational challenges since its founding, however, thanks to a solid management team, optimized manufacturing processes and a refined development strategy, the company has established itself in pole position. “Étienne is well respected by all our employees, and has managed to carve his way into the team with an ideal combination of leadership, industry knowledge and strategy and process implementation skills. I am confident that he is the best person to lead Fibrobec to the next phase of its evolution, which will be characterised mainly by the increase in activities in North America. We hope to have sustained growth, with sales expected to reach 20 million dollars”, declared Frédéric Albert. The latter will continue his duties as president and will oversee the development of new projects as well as Fibrobec’s asset diversification in the manufacturing sector.

Étienne Bouchard graduated in business administration from HEC with specialization in marketing. He holds more than fifteen years of experience in sales and management, particularly in the telecommunication sector, including at Astral, Videotron and Cogeco. Since 2012, he has acted as an independent consultant for business development, marketing and administration in various industries.
